Lucid Utopia

Nicola Bernasconi

The research into Henri Oedenkoven's life and the conditions that prompted him to establish a vegetarian colony on Monte Verità in 1900 is compared to the work and training experiences I have personally carried out during my own journey.

By means of a comparative analysis of the two paths and the creation of a fictitious story that re-proposes my own personal considerations, I attempt to investigate the possible relationships and iterations between a design practice shaped by the needs of today's capitalist industry and a more ethical, profound and innovative way of working.
