Rosa Sonnenblumen, braune Erdbeeren und graue Kakteen

Ursina Guntern

Approximately one in twelve men and one in 200 women are affected by color blindness. That is around 450,000 people in Switzerland. Nevertheless, there are very few learning materials or children's books on the subject. With this work, I would like to help close this gap.
The children's book explains color vision disorders in everyday terms, using familiar objects such as an apple, a strawberry, or a sunflower. The pictures in the book can help to detect color vision disorders in children.
The book is aimed at children with and without color blindness, as it is intended to provide general information on the subject.
